It's a good thing this break was short.
Hawaii Department of Education (Hawaii DOE) students was off from October 5-13 (including weekends), and it was like Hell in my neighborhood.
You're probably assuming the children raised Hell, but that's not the case... their parents was the Hellraisers.
Some parents yelled at their children throughout the day and night, and one parent took it to the extreme by blasting her religious media up until midnight, and again at the crack of dawn in an effort to scare away Satan who's possessing her child.
Other parents hosted a rowdy alcohol party on most nights, and what's hilarious is they converted a parking stall into a party room.
Now that the fall break is done, it's very quiet in my neighborhood. The only man-made sound that I can hear is the traffic.
