The official Hawaii Department of Education (Hawaii DOE) website is currently experiencing server issues as Hurricane Lane approaches the state.

Parents are trying to access that website to confirm that all public schools in the state will be closed on Thursday and Friday. Ironically, that information is not currently found on that website. You can however, find confirmation on their Twitter account @HIDOE808.

This has happened multiple times in the past... because their technicians doesn't know how to perform basic server estimates.
