We're days away from relief.

Hawaii continues to endure extreme levels of humidity that former Hurricane Lane has left behind. Relief isn't coming until Friday.

The relative humidity in my home this past Saturday was 80 percent while the temperature was 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Three days later, the relative humidity dropped only 5 percent.

My air purifier has been sporadically warning me of extreme levels of pollution (most likely mold). I've exhausted my entire 5 pound supply of reusable silica gel to combat the moisture.

I also placed a fresh 10.5 container of DampRid in my closet on Saturday, and it's almost depleted on Tuesday. That container normally lasts 4-6 weeks in my closet.
