They've got to be kidding me.
A user on Twitter who opposes the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) asked other users if they think that it's okay to build a telescope on locations such as Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Egyptian pyramid, Mount Fuji, and Machu Picchu.
They even photoshopped an image of the TMT sideways on those locations with an inaccurate proportion. It's sideways because none of those locations could house a telescope for geological reasons.
That person and their unintelligent protest is an embarrassment to TMT opposers. At least every other opposer is logical while they're protesting.
I doubt anyone will set a new low for TMT opposers...
