Reporters asked Senator Mazie Hirono if having women on the Senate Judiciary Committee will improve how the allegation against a Supreme Court nominee is handled. Here's a video of her reply:
"Guess who's perpetuating all of these kinds of actions? It's the men in this country, and I just want to say to the men in this country: Just shut up and step up. Do the right thing, for a change," Hirono replied.
What Senator Hirono fails to realize is the situation with the Supreme Court nominee is still in the allegation stage. Until there's solid evidence, no one, including the women on the committee, should come to a final conclusion.
The Democrats are losing power because of their intolerance. Telling an entire sex to "shut up" because they never do the right thing is a step in the wrong direction...
Just for the record, I didn't vote for Hirono and her unintelligent plans during the 2002 Hawaii gubernatorial election, a time when Linda Lingle become the first Republican Governor of Hawaii since 1962.
